Technical Evaluations and Studies
Hall & Associates frequently prepares technical evaluations and/or designs and executes studies in support of effluent limit assessments. These evaluations and studies focus on assessment of compliance potential and the default assumptions inherent in most water quality-based permit limitations, whether derived through individual wasteload allocations or multiple-discharger TMDLs. Initial investigations typically assess expectations for compliance with revised effluent limitations via reasonable potential analysis. Subsequent evaluations and studies most frequently address available dilution flow, applicable numeric water quality standards, or the conservative assumptions used in the derivation of effluent limitations.
